Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?!

The amount of context needed to understand this game’s core joke is immense.

Anime has a genre called “isekai,” meaning “other world.” In these shows, someone is usually killed in some harrowing way, but instead of dying, they’re transported to a fantasy world that takes heavy inspiration from MMORPG’s, and usually have some sort of edge over the rest of the world that turns them into an ultimate hero of sorts.

A common trope is that the death leading to this isekai fantasy world is the result of being hit by a truck. This trope was personified as a meme by the anime community as Truck-kun. Thus, we have this game.
